Last spring we sat with my parents in a Seattle Hospital room where my Dad was seeing doctors about upcoming cancer treatment. During our visit we told them about ideas for our first big 4000 mile trip through 5 western states. They listened with such painful looks on their faces when Mom finally said, only as Mom's can, "What if something happens"? We looked at at each other and responded "We hope something does". This is a running log of our adventures.
Any map suggestions? I've ordered some Butler maps but they are limited. Google is good but maybe too good without much data to go with all the roads they display.
Lost Coast Rd. in No. California is worth doing. Pavement is broken and patchy so slow is good but the views make it worthwhile.
